Rose Ash

Rose Ash is the pen name for Betsy Sleath who has been a professor of pharmacy for over 30 years at University of New Mexico and then the University of North Carolina. She studied fiction writing at the University of North Carolina. She enjoys writing stories about community and romance that take place in small towns. Her mom worked in a Connecticut community pharmacy when she was young. She also wrote the romance Pelican Island Pharmacy and is currently working on a sequel to it which should be completed in 2026. She loves spending time on the coast in New England and North Carolina.
