M. J. Wilen

M. J. Wilen has a BS in Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business. She worked as an Engineer at Westinghouse, an Operations Officer at Mellon Bank, a New Product Development Manager at DuPont, a Consultant at McKinsey & Company, and as a Senior Executive at PepsiCo and Yum Brands.

She retired from the corporate world in 1999 and worked full-time as a Private School Mom until 2017. Currently, she enjoys living in sunny Las Vegas, Nevada, where she spends her days researching, writing, working out, and taking advantage of local entertainment. She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators and is currently working on a number of children’s books, both picture, and early reader level stories.
