Kimberly McBee

Meet Kimberly "Kim" McBee. As a young woman from a middle class family in small town America, she chose a career as a hairstylist, and has thoroughly enjoyed her work for over thirty years. "Lessons Learned Behind the Chair" reveals why her work is meaningful, lively and ever-changing. Her life is colorful, partly due to the interesting people and variety of experiences as she works and listens from "behind the chair" in her salon.

As a daughter, sister, wife and mother, Kim wears many hats, yet she has found that writing stories is extremely rewarding... it makes her happy, and she hopes her book makes readers smile and laugh... and brings "a little happy" to their day, as well.

Kim, along with her husband, has courageously taken on life, enjoying each stage. She has lived the American dream, growing her family and building her business from the ground up.
