Manfred Görk

Manfred Görk, born in 1954, studied economics and now lives near Heidelberg, Germany and in China. His professional activity has taken him around the globe. He got to know countries, cultures and people who shaped him. After his professional career, he turned to writing. He is an outspoken connoisseur of China and has made life in this country the subject of his books and videos. On the occasion of the Corona crisis, he published his work "Lockdown in New Zealand - Corona Travel Diary" in May 2020, as he himself was affected by the lockdown in Auckland. His novel "Mr. Gao and the Yellow River was published" in December 2020. In September 2022 he published his latest book "9-Euro-Ticket Odyssee - Deutschland, wohin schlingerst Du?"
