Marvin Gechman

Marvin Gechman is an industrial and systems engineer, with two degrees, plus 57 years’ experience in the engineering field, including 34 years in the aerospace industry where he was focused on missile defense systems (e.g. THAAD), the space station, and satellite systems such as weather, communications and spy satellites.

He retired from two aerospace companies. During his career, he was president or vice-president of four engineering consulting companies and, for a while, was president of a construction company.. Marv has 130 publications, including two books and is writing his third book. His last book, a textbook published in 2019, has received great reviews and is being considered by MIT as the basis of a new course. Although semi-retired, he is president of Escon Software and Systems Consjulting, Inc.
