J. Everett Bettis

J. Everett Bettis is a passionate storyteller and the author of Children of the Skies. A native of Detroit, Michigan, J’s journey to becoming a writer was not a conventional one. After earning a degree in Finance and Business Administration from Michigan State University, he spent years working at prominent law firms. However, despite his professional success, he always felt a pull toward a different path—a path that led him to the world of writing.

Encouraged by his mother, who had long believed in his talent, J took a leap of faith and sat down to begin his first novel, Children of the Skies. What started as a hobby quickly evolved into something much more serious. As J continued writing, he realized the story was far larger than he had originally imagined.

The entire concept for Children of the Skies, from beginning to end, came to J in a dream. Along with this sci-fi epic, several other stories began to take shape in his mind. Inspired by the vivid imagery and powerful themes that arose from these dreams, J dedicated himself to writing. In pursuit of his dream, he relocated to Los Angeles, California, where he continues to craft stories that explore the vastness of the human experience, the mystery of the universe, and the potential for transformation.

When not writing, J's passion lies in connecting with his readers and exploring new ideas and genres that challenge the boundaries of fiction. Children of the Skies is just the beginning of his storytelling journey, and he’s excited to share many more worlds with readers in the years to come.
