Lisa L. Whitmore

Lisa L. Whitmore is a true Southern girl. Born in the deep South, her life journey took her all over the U.S. through a military lifestyle, eventually finding home among the coastal breezes and quiet marshes of Eastern South Carolina, where she grew up. Lisa writes suspense-filled contemporary romance and recently ventured into children's books, drawing inspiration from her own life experiences and the beauty of the world around her.

She began writing as a way to heal from an abusive past, using fiction to give voice to personal stories and strength to the characters she creates. Most days, you can find her in her North Carolina home, busy with her three kids or wandering the great outdoors with her family. When she's not writing, she’s often digging in her garden or dreaming up her next adventure abroad.
