Clarice A. Schultz

Clarice Schultz has worked as a nurse thanatologist for forty years and taught numerous semesters, regional, and national seminars on death, dying, and grieving. She earned Bachelor of Science degrees in nursing and psychology, as well as an AD in anthropology, and a minor in theological studies thus bringing a well-rounded, holistic approach to her subject matter.

She helped found one of the first hospices in her area. She developed and wrote the training courses for the various professions to be hospice certified. She volunteered as the professional advisor to the local Compassionate Friends and was an instructor to Make Today Count support groups.

Clarice has worked in emergency, surgery, recovery, obstetrics, and hospice. She has volunteered with the national and local Red Cross disaster team, Houston abuse center, Houston floods disaster team, and Southwest Airlines disaster team. She has seen grief from many perspectives and many cultures. She now shares the benefits of her experience with you.

Clarice published several articles in Nursing Journals and a chapter in a medical text for physicians. She published five books which are on Amazon. Her son Craig, a member of the special forces was killed on duty. Clarice cares about those who grieve.
