Halaveshia Hall

Halaveshia S. Hall is a native of Albany, GA. Her passion for writing stems from her love of poetry. In middle school a poem she wrote about the domestic violence her mother was enduring won a spot in the National Book of Poetry. Over the years, life hit, as she married, became a mother of three (and a bonus daughter) and her first born being hearing impaired and autistic caused her to place writing on the back burner. After her divorce and as the children began to get older she began to pray for her purpose to be revealed. This landed her into motivational speaking and creating Women Seminars to enhance the everyday woman. Prior to that she did everything from host her own radio show “Women 101” on www.108praiseradio.com, modeled for some of Atlanta’s top fashion designers to acting. Through it all she noted a common trend around her: broken women. She could recognize them and relate to them as she was also broken. Her passion and purpose both reside in reigniting the fire in women whom like herself, may have lost themselves in marriage, children, work or just life! Along the way, she noticed her passion for writing came back and it was also attached to uplifting the women around her causing her to release her first book entitled “Hey Sister, I’m Praying With You!” A 30-Day Prayer Devotional. A topic near and dear to her heart as she remembers some of her lowest moments and her need to just have someone say “I’m here - I’m standing with you - I’m praying with you” and mean it!
