John Weigelt

John Weigelt was raised in San Diego, California. In 1968, after graduating from High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he served for four years (1968 to 1972) during the Vietnam war. After being honorably discharged from the Navy, he moved to Carson, California. John became a Christian in 1972 and actively served in various churches. In 1992, the church he was attending merged with another church, and the union became South Bay New Life Christian Center, Inc. John was licensed as a minister under this church and served as an associate pastor, finance director and a Director on the church Board. John was Ordained in May of 1994. John also completed a 3-year School of Ministry program during this time.

In 1998, the senior pastor ventured out to start a new ministry and John was selected to become the senior pastor of S.B. New Life Christian Center, Inc., where he is still serving as pastor today.
