James Ray Coffman

Born and raised in Central Kentucky, Ray was a storyteller from the early days of his childhood. Winning numerous art awards in his pre-teen and teenage years, Ray was proving himself a proficient artist. What wasn't known, however, was that Ray could tell stories through words as well as art. In college, Ray began writing his first novel, a sprawling fantasy series that he would later rewrite and illustrate as his first graphic novel, Araura.

After a decade of illustration and sequential storytelling, Ray finally released his first full-length novel, a horror/sci-fi tale called "Derelict: The Harbingers of Kromius" in 2019.
