I'm Shika Nelson, a native New Orleanian who has been transplanted on the Northshore of New Orleans. My passion for writing started when I was 11 years old. I would write the words of songs I heard on the radio and try to change them around to make my own melody. I love writing short stories, poems, and raps, which is funny because my childhood dream was to become a criminal court judge and one day a supreme court justice. However, GOD decided to use my talent differently. I enjoy reading and listening to music when I am not writing.
