Franz H. Wesselmann, born in 1938 in a small town on the River Rhein in Germany, discovered his passion for writing in the later stages of his life. Former Colonel of the German Airforce, Executive in the European Aerospace Industry and ex CEO of an Organisation for the Production of Alternative Energies, he draws on a vast life experience that he intelligently mixes into his novels and short stories. He is especially interested in the psychological and emotional motivation of his fictional characters and does not shy away from esoterically inspired subjects like spiritual evolution, faith and purpose of life and death. One of his major interests, that transpires through all his novels, are human relationships and their problems. But he does not limit himself to describe the problematic, he offers solutions and hope and does not forget the funny side of it all. Thus his books are marked by a refreshing positivity throughout.
The author is married and lives with his wife in London, United Kingdom. His first books were published in English, but he has now decided to write and publish as well in German.
Franz H. Wesselmann has neither literary prizes nor other recognitions or laurels to his credit - yet. And to obtain those does not seem to be his main motivation for his writing, nor does he aim to get rich through his books. He sees his readers as his friends, with whom he wants to exchange his experiences and to help them to avoid all the mistakes, he has made in his life.
This is why it's worthwhile to have a closer look at his writings.
