Beth Howell

Beth Howell is an elementary school principal in Bear, Delaware. Her claim to fame is "inspiring excellence" in students and staff each and every day. She is married to her high school sweetheart and has a teenage daughter, Mackenzie, whose image is featured in Dear Mrs. Magootie. She began writing this book when Mackenzie was a toddler and asked her to read the same books over and over again. Wishing there was something out there that could keep an adult's attention, as well as a child's, she decided to put a different spin on a children's book.
