Kelly Wingo

A native of Paris, Kentucky, Kelly L. Wingo remembers the first book that was ever read to her – “Jack and Jill” – by her grandmother, who was a school teacher.

“When I was three years old, my grandmother would sit me at the kitchen table and teach me to read,” she says.

Now, after a 27 year career in the Criminal Justice field, with Safety and Security being a passion as much as her writing, she combines both interests along with her love of children in this book.
