Sonya Ruff Jarvis is the author of The Year I Wore Pink: 25+ Years Beyond Breast Cancer, a deeply personal memoir reflecting on breast cancer survivorship, resilience, faith, and the life that unfolds long after treatment ends.
Diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in 2000 while building her executive career in New York City, Jarvis navigated surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation while continuing to pursue her professional and personal aspirations. More than 25 years later, she shares the experiences, relationships, challenges, and lessons that shaped her journey—not simply through breast cancer, but through the decades that followed.
An accomplished business executive, entrepreneur, and six-time author and contributing author, Jarvis has spent more than three decades in business leadership, marketing, and strategic consulting. She is the founder and Managing Member of Jarvis Consultants, LLC, and holds an MBA in Marketing.
Her writing reflects a belief in faith, grace, resilience, and intentional living. Through The Year I Wore Pink: 25+ Years Beyond Breast Cancer, she offers readers an honest perspective on navigating uncertainty, embracing life's transitions, and discovering strength along the way.
Originally from Ohio, Jarvis has lived in New York and Connecticut and now resides on the coast of North Carolina with her family.
