Pamela Michael

Writer, education reform activist and radio producer Pamela Michael is dedicated to integrating environmental and arts education into the lives of children and their communities. Co-founder, with Robert Hass, of the much-honored River of Words organization, she trained thousands of teachers, park rangers, and other educators how to connect kids to the natural world and to their own imaginations, inspiring them to create stunning art and poetry. She has also directed a United Nations Task Force on Education, had her own weekly show on Sirius Network, and written numerous articles and books on travel, education and the arts.
