Joshua Perez

Joshua Perez is my name (hey there!). I'm a new author that loves the process. I have the most fun when I'm writing. There's something about the total control aspect that really calms my mind into complete relaxation. Sort of like medicine for anxiety or depression. I know about meds and doctor appointments because I have MS. One of the major forms of therapy I came to incorporate in my life because of having MS is writing/reading. So, of course, I became a writer. It only made sense that I would become an author in due time. It took about 2-3 years before I had the guts to test the waters, so to speak, and get my work out there through Amazon. Destination was born! :D And if I can do it, so can anyone. Just takes a bit of "elbow grease", a pen and paper/word processor, a keen eye for ideas to write about, perhaps a comfy chair (my chairs haven't been comfortable at all...), and a quiet space--and you have the beginnings of a writing career.

I hope to continue producing stories for as long as I'm alive and well. Having MS pretty much means that there may be gaps between my writings, but I shall not stop! Who knows what I'll end up accomplishing. I'm 32 and single now, and there's really nothing stopping me from fulfilling this endeavor. By the way, I am Christian author! Most, if not all, of my stories will have a sci-fi touch, but I intend to try out all of the major genres eventually.
