Jenny Stevens

Being a retired Home Economics teacher I saw this as an ideal opportunity to rekindle my love of story telling.

Born in Sheffield in 1950 and living in Yorkshire until I was 13 years old I spent many hours exploring the Yorkshire Dales with school friends, living out imagined adventures.

My English teacher once said that my writing showed great imagination and flight of fancy, not sure that was a compliment however? But story writing was my passion for many years.

So career, marriage and children came along and it was only a few years ago after I retired from teaching that I started to write again and Trafalgar Bear was created, originally as stories for my 3 grandsons.

His adventures have entertained, amused and educated Seb, Jonathan and Jackson and I am now hoping that the little bear will bring enjoyment to other young people as they follow the eadventures of this well travelled, quintessential family bear.

Meeting his unusual companions and sharing the happy moments with family and friends.
