I am a 2nd-grade teacher, mother of 3 beautiful children and grandmother of 2 adorable grandchildren. I have a very supportive husband and two loving dogs. I love teaching and sharing my love for reading with my students. Writing a children's book has always been a dream of mine. I wanted to find some way to leave a positive message for children and make some kind of difference in the world that would last even after my time here is through. I had inspiration from my family and pets when I wrote my first book. I also used experiences that I had in the classroom for inspiration. It is my hope that my first children's book, "Mistakes", will reach many children and help them to understand that mistakes are okay and help us grow.
