Lori Harrison is an award-winning communicator, storyteller, and creator of content. The future belongs to our children and she believes that we share a responsibility to educate them, include them in the conversation, and inspire them to get involved. Small hands can be big heroes, too! Awarded a 2019 Book Excellence Award, Why Water's Worth It is her first published children's book...an idea that began as a prop in a video PSA. After receiving requests for "the book in the video" Lori knew that she was onto something special. Her husband, Jon Harrison, is a talented art director who also happily stumbled into being a children's book illustrator. They are privileged to be able to team up and collaborate on many creative and public education projects and have found a new love in children's books. They hope Why Water's Worth It is just the beginning. So many ideas...so little time! This creative duo lives in Virginia with their two children, two cats, and one very large, fluffy dog.
