L Meredith Averitt

Meredith Averit was born and raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Meredith to Knoxville, Tennessee during high school where she became a confirmed country girl. She went on to college and veterinary school at the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1981. In 1988 she bought a small animal veterinary practice in Williamsburg, Virginia. She has a farmette nearby where she is involved with her dachshunds (which she breeds and shows) and her two Arabian horses.
