Alvin C King

Alvin King was born in the Lower Eastside of Manhattan and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He is married with two children and after his father’s untimely death in 2000, he was granted custody of his younger brother Ryan, whom he raised as well.

He now resides in South Carolina upon his retirement from the United States Army. He is a 20-year United States Army Combat Veteran who has had multiple deployments in support of contingency operations all over the world.

His reflections and insight are what led him down the path to write this manual that he hopes will prove useful to the reader and spread beyond his reach.

His goal is to acquaint others who may benefit from his insight and his experiences and encourage them to accept a very heartfelt message.

It is his hope that this message will reach the ones most in need and thereby improve their feelings of self-worth and help them lead a life worth living!
