Sheldon Greaves

Dr. Sheldon Greaves describes himself as a "recovering academic" and "guerrilla scholar." His wide-ranging intellectual career includes reading reading ancient manuscripts, helping design an amateur space vehicle, promoting citizen science, and co-founding a university for spies. His current day job involves doing cyber intelligence in the financial industry.

He earned a Ph.D. in ancient Near Eastern Studies from UC Berkeley in 1996. Currently he lives and works in Western Oregon with his spouse ("The Other Dr. Greaves"), and their two cats, Sophia and Demosthenes.
