Elizabeth Akerman

Elizabeth Akerman was born on the Mid-Atlantic coast of Virginia, educated there and moved to four other regions of the country before settling in central U.S. She has taught in public school, to migrant children in California, several universities and tutored 1st year law students. She has worked as a feature writer for two newspapers and completed two books prior to A Gallery of Butterflies. She loves visual and musical art, has three children and lives in Oklahoma.
