T. Maynard lives in North Florida. He spent most of his 20s and 30s living in the outdoors as an adrenaline junkie. Scuba diving, rock climbing, snowboarding and hang gliding to name a few.
He also traveled the world starting with seeing most of the U.S. a couple of times and large parts of South America and western Europe with adventure always at the forefront of the journey. Now in his 40s, he says his body has slowed down but he still enjoy getting out there. He spent the last 15 years studying and practicing the skills of survival and prepping and have even talked his wife into joining him, He said it's mostly out of pure frustration.
He has woven this knowledge into his two novels that he has recently published called
“Southbound, A Story Of Survival ” and 'Westbound, Survival Is Not Enough." It’s about a truck driver who makes his way from New York State back to Florida after an EMP strikes the USA. You will follow his adventures as he walks, rides bikes and sales a boat over a two-month period back to Florida. And then in book two he and his team fight local gov. thugs and then head west for hopefully a better life. He has added many survival skills along with his own true-life stories placed throughout the books. He claims he has NEVER been a writer growing up but these books hold parts of his life that he hopes will be passed on to my child and her children. All he knows about his grandparents are some stories told on long road trips. It's also nice to pass on some survival skills that may just save a life someday.
