Lorin Cutts became fascinated with UFOs and the paranormal after his first experience with anomalous aerial phenomena in 1993. He began researching other people's UFO-related events in 1995, and, after co-founding a UFO and paranormal internet talk radio network in the USA, he became interested in the sociological, cultural and mythological implications that the UFO subject would seem to present. Lorin has written for magazines in both the U.S. and the UK, contributed to the 2017 anthology UFOs: Reframing the Debate, and presented the High Strangeness podcast. He works as a compliance officer on the railroad in the Pacific Northwest. He is the author of the children's book The Mount Hood Railroad Christmas Train. The Other Side of the Tracks is his first work of non-fiction.
