As an award-winning author and international educator, Stephanie Harter's mission is to empower people to make informed food choices that reflect their values of personal health and compassion for all beings. Stephanie’s philosophy is “good food can be enjoyed without dire consequences to our health, the animals involved, and our shared planet.”
Stephanie Harter grew up in Orlando, FL in a modest home with two hardworking parents, a little sister, and a baby brother. She honed her leadership capabilities through her love of training in the martial arts and receiving her black belt, as well as her advancement to Lieutenant Colonel upon 4 years in her high schools Air Force Junior ROTC program, where she was awarded the Daughters of the American Revolution Award.
Stephanie later moved to Virginia Beach, VA where she worked and traveled as a flight attendant before edging her way into radio as an Account Executive at FM99 WNOR. While working, she graduated Phi Theta Kappa from Tidewater Community College and transferred to Old Dominion University to study Professional Communications.
She began seeing the world through a vegan lens in 2009 after hearing accounts from factory farm workers about the unthinkable conditions of animal agriculture and its impacts on the animals' welfare and the environment. She retired her old southern meat, egg, and dairy-based recipes and learned how to create a menu of delicious and nutritious plant-based comfort foods.
After just a short time, she experienced a host of noticeable improvements to her health as a result of choosing vegan foods. Most notably, a chronic digestive disorder she had suffered from since childhood and declared irreversible by gastroenterologists, was suddenly healed.
Passionate about the power of a wholesome vegan lifestyle in all areas of life, including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, Stephanie pursued her formal nutrition education with the American School of Natural Health in 2014 while working as the assistant to the founder and president. Then, became a graduate of the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies at eCornell. Stephanie has helped many to recover their health as doctors eliminated her clients' medications one by one as a result of Stephanie coaching them through plant-based eating.
Stephanie is a certified Trainer, Coach, and Mentor with Success Resources, a company that provides transformative education and events for big names in personal growth like Tony Robbins, T. Harv Eker, and Gary Vaynerchuk.
As an educator, author and speaker, Stephanie is committed to helping others experience freedom from dieting by connecting to their power to make a difference as a rebel for compassion.
