Namaste! Nice to meet you! Call me "Harley" for short, as in most of my travels, everyone does! Thank you for taking an interest in my book!

Having grown up in a blue collar suburb of Cleveland Ohio, my childhood was influenced heavily by books of history, adventure, science fiction, and graphic novels!

Since graduating high school life has been a series of adventures, and having been persuaded by many family, friends and acquaintances, I have begun to do just that.

In my upcoming books you will be able to read amazing true stories of my time in two militaries in two different countries, my crazy hallucinating raver/art college days, crewing and saving the yachts I was on, the adult entertainment industry, working as a Divemaster, and my four years of globetrotting, mostly around South East Asia.

I had come to St. Maarten before as I would go there after a quick return to Florida between trips to switch out my photo and video equipment. Which is how HELL ON PARADISE; A TRUE STORY is before you now.

I wrote this with trying to convey the hurriedness, panic, despair, and absurdity as it happened.

I have returned to St Maarten since Irma, in September 2018 and again this past October to follow up on events and people that I shared this historic natural disaster with and have stayed here since, living on the Dutch side now, keeping a roof over my head and food on my plate by the good nature of the Universe!

I have since met again with Olivia, the Hotel Mercure staff, and connecied again with "Willy Wonka"!

I think you will find "HELL ON PARADISE: A TRUE STORY Hurricane Irma & St. Maarten" as exciting, hard to put down, and a feeling of a need to finish to find out what happens as much of my readers have so far!
