Wendy Keefer

Wendy Keefer grew up in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains outside Boulder, Colorado and later spent 9 years in Alaska. From there she moved to York, England and has worked as a private physiotherapist for 30 years. More recently, she has fulfilled a long-held desire to work with animals and has gained a CAPBT diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training as well as training as an approved instructor with WaggaWuffins Canine College. Now doing behaviour consultations for dogs and cats, Wendy has particularly specialised in dog/child relationships. Her first book, Hey Dog! Let’s Talk! is an introduction to dog body language for children and helps them understand how they can use their bodies to ‘talk’ back to the dog in a way that helps develop safe and trustworthy relationships between the two. She especially enjoys presenting to groups of enthusiastic children. For more information on this have a look at her website: www.heydog.co.uk. Watch for further books in the Hey Dog! series!
