Bryan K. O'Rourke was born in Valdosta Georgia. The son of an Air Force Academy pilot and military officer he grew up around the US, and returned to live in his family's home town of New Orleans to attend college in 1981. For over thirty five years Bryan has worked in a variety of industries and with leading business owners. He contributed as an executive along side New Orleans entrepreneurs like Al Copeland, founder of Popeye's Famous Fried Chicken, Steve Kuhnau and his wife Cindy founders of Smoothie King, and Phyllis Jordan founder of PJ's Coffee and Tea Company, among many others. Bryan was an early adopter of technologies in a variety of businesses and in 1997 he began working in the fitness and health club industry. As a co-owner of the south central Les Mills' group fitness distributor Fitmarc from 1995-2015 Bryan and his partner Robert Dyer grew a number of companies together and Bryan became known as a leading expert on technology, health, and fitness trends speaking on four continents and writing six books and dozens of articles. His first book, "The Nine Partnership Principals," written with partner Robert Dyer won industry acclaim. In 2015 he founded Vedere Ventures, which has invested in and guided global brands like VertiMax, Motosumo, EcoFit Networks, Fitness 24 Seven Thailand, and Moon Mission media. He sits on a number of boards of directors and hosts the leading Fitness + Technology Podcast. Bryan has a BS and MBA in finance. He has concluded post graduate studies at Harvard university among others and has been quoted in a numerous leading periodicals like the Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine, and Forbes among others.
