Erika Chupp

Erika Chupp graduated from Southeastern University in December 2018 with her bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. In her senior year, she co-founded Original: Creative Writing Club with Cady Suppe and served as its vice president for two semesters. From a young age, Erika loved to tell stories, whether it was through words or drawings. Since then, she has been working on her first novel, The Light Princess, which was inspired by the fairytale of the same name by George MacDonald. The story focuses on the bond between a brother and sister, one that she has drawn from her own life experiences with her younger brother, and the strength that comes from her family. She also hopes to write and illustrate her own children’s book series in the near future. Her love for fairytales, family, friends, and her faith inspire her to continue to create stories that readers of all ages will enjoy, along with ones that use her own experiences.
