James Love

James Love is a UK based children's author living in the leafy suburbs of Surrey, England.

When he's not dreaming up strange new alien worlds, writing his next fart joke or trying to figure out how his characters can escape their latest life endangering predicament, his 'day job' sees him teaching in a primary school, and he is particularly keen for his books to appeal to reluctant readers.

Max Voltage: Multiverse Mayhem is the first book in his funny middle grade 'Max Voltage' science fiction series. This was followed up by Max Voltage: Planet Terror and the newly released Max Voltage: Gladiator Games.

'I don't write big books, clever books, books with an important message or books that will change the world. But I do write entertaining books, the type I would have enjoyed reading as a child.'
