Mick Pease

Mick Pease is founder and CEO of SFAC (Strengthening Families for Abandoned Children). For many years he has promoted and advocated family-based care for vulnerable children worldwide. A former coal miner in Yorkshire UK, qualified social worker - now retired he lives in Leeds, UK, with his wife Brenda. They have two boys, Mark and Kevin, and 6 grandchildren.

After 35 years working as a social worker with City Council in Leeds UK, Mick resigned in 2015 in order to develop the work with SFAC.

One of Mick's lifelong passions is football, a keen season ticket holder at Leeds United. He loves to spend his spare time with his family and even if that means just being around them. "It's who I am and where I belong."
