American born DeBorah Fields is an author, motivational speaker and life coach who grew up the single female in a male dominated family. Her world was filled with extraordinary people from a not so small Island called Beaufort in South Carolina. Though she lives in New York and has lived in many areas of the U.S. She is an Island girl who is rich in its many cultures.
She has always had the gift to encourage and motivate people to be all they can. She motivates people of all ages to identify their greatness and to overcome their weakness while operating in their strengths. She makes herself available for and speaks at luncheons, power breakfasts, church functions, women organizations. , She attended South College (University) in Savannah Ga, Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh Pa and also studied Theology at Regent University of Virginia Beach Va. She went on to study Political Science and Journalism remotely to obtain a MA from LMU and currently chasing the highest degree she can obtain in Biblical Archaeology and Anthropology and Natural Cures.
DeBorah is a published Author, freelance writer, poet and blogger. Her love for writing started really early in life and though she has had many really good jobs doing other things, she has followed that love for writing; and has worked as an editorial assistant and later a feature writer with The Virginian Pilot Newspaper in Norfolk, Va. As a freelance writer, she writes for Phenomenal Godly Lifestyles Magazine as a special interest writer in Spirituality, as well as Phenomenal Sisters Magazine on women's interests, issues in society, current events and community spotlight.
Ms DeBorah is also the founder who wears many hats at A Godly Woman Worldwide, Inc. and A Godly Woman Worldwide Ministries, Inc. of which she formed, founded and established in 1999.
Her excellent interpersonal skills coupled with her gift to inspire people in her speaking and writing also creates perfect opportunity not only for her to use her expertise to help others make positive changes in their lives, but also to help them reach their life goals. She communicates with people all over the world from all walks of life. She spends a lot of time working with people in diverse situations through the Ministry in which she offers personal, professional and Spiritual growth development help by offering several different services pertaining to not just the immediate community around her, but also globally. Some of her greatest mottos in life are: “ If you can’t help someone to get where they’re going, don’t give them directions." Don’t dwarf the potential in others by your own limitations and standards.” “You’ll never know who has the answer if you never ask the question.” DeBorah is an advocate in the fight against hunger and poverty. She believes that if you teach a person a craft or a skill to obtain employment, you have just helped that person to provide for themselves. Sometimes it's not the money that you hand out, but the knowledge that you share that makes one self sufficient. She is very passionate about domestic violence and instability in family, as well as the abuse of any people in any form. She is also a civil voice against Human Inequality in every form.
A Human Rights Activist, who defends the rights of men, women, children and the civil rights of the underprivileged. A victorious survivor and over comer of Domestic Violence among other violent crimes. DeBorah is a motivational speaker determined to wipe out the victim syndrome. One of her sessions she challenges the idea of getting back on track because it usually means going back to where you left off and trying to fix someone in a situation where you have no control. Her antidote is to take time off fixing others and invest in yourself first. Take all of the time you use beating a dead fish in the head and kick-start your own attention in getting your life to a healthy place for yourself and those you love. A diligent researcher of historical places times and events among a long list of other subjects in her quest to find truth.
Ms Fields is a loving mother, grandmother and an entrepreneur. A motivationalist with great passion for all people but especially those under privileged, less fortunate and those oppressed.
