Hayley Dunn

Hayley Dunn is a school business leadership specialist, with a specialism in finance, and a background that includes public and private sector finance and accounting. She is an ACCA qualified accountant and a Fellow of the Institute of School Business Leadership (ISBL).

Since moving to the public sector 10 years ago, she has worked for a local authority education finance team, a large maintained school in an area of high deprivation and a multi-academy trust. She writes and presents on leadership in education, with a passion for generating income, being economic with resources, and supporting the development of others.

In 2017, Hayley was awarded an ISBL, Chief Executive Award for Exceptional Contribution to the Development of the SBM Profession for 'driving practitioner engagement through effective thought leadership'.

Hayley's first non-fiction book 'The School Business Manager's Handbook' is a finalist in the 2019 Business Book Awards, in the 'Specialist Book' category.
