Tim McGlen

The first story I remember writing was for Mrs. Lynn in fourth-grade. Like Antonino, that story involved paint. Unlike Antonino, that story involved the Hardy Boys. I have written many pages between these two stories and have encountered inspirational teachers along the way. Their common message: believe in your ability. I hope children who experience Antonino’s Impossible Dream will emerge with a stronger foundation of belief in their own abilities … to make a friend, to try a new activity, or to maybe even paint the universe.

A Montessori-trained elementary teacher, Tim McGlen enjoys seeing children discover their potential as learners, creators, friends, mentors, teammates, and community members. When he’s not teaching or writing, you can find him working out stories on his bicycle, cooking up flag football plays, or experimenting with flavors in the kitchen.
