David Sunderland

I am a British-French writer whose career has combined international public service with an incurable fascination for people, ideas and life's bigger questions. Bureaucratic absurdities occasionally make an appearance, but so do love, migration, politics, technology, death, hope and humour.

My books include the novel Angeland, the poetry collections The Business of Dreams and A Deluge of Wonders, and the reflective non-fiction work The Punctuation of Loss. Together they explore the ways individuals and societies navigate change, uncertainty and meaning.
