Lucy Sams

As a person who believes what Maya Angelou said, "There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside of you." Lucy Sams tells her stories with a focus on life's pleasures; children, laughter, sunshine, and new places.

A majority of her writing focuses on family-based children's adventures that incorporate empowering messages for children about expression, self-image, and self-esteem as well as an emphasis on social and emotional skills.

When Lucy is not writing out of her home in Charlotte, North Carolina, she spends her days walking and waving at her neighbors and making memories with the people she loves.
