I write fiction, non-fiction and poetry in English and Hindi. A large part of my writing is focused on life and experiences. I started penning down poems as a child, and then lost the words for several years. In order to return to the world of writing, I did an experiment. For six months, I wrote a poem of at least eight lines every day, based on a random word picked from the newspaper. Didn't miss a single day, and then compiled the poems in the book, Life’s Not All That Unfair (http://www.amazon.in/dp/B00BDXZIPA/), self-published on Amazon.
My second book was a collection of fictional short-stories. Titled, Lady In The Chair, this book was also self-published on Amazon @ https://www.amazon.in/dp/B07P9MRRPN/.
I have written poems and stories for children as well. A few poems were published in school books, but you can access the larger collection on my website, www.taruagarwal.com.
I studied software and chose to work with the tech media. For more than two decades, I was associated with various organizations in media, publishing and communication. Somewhere in between, the entrepreneurial bug bit me and I set up two companies. You can see my professional journey @ http://linkedin.com/in/taruagarwal. I live in New Delhi, India.
