Ithream "Auntie I" Blackmon

Ithream Blackmon, a.ka. Auntie I to her nieces, is an author of children’s books and songs. She is a native of Indiana and a graduate from Ball State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

A novice to writing children’s stories, she has always had an interest in creative writing. What was once an interest has now become a reality in the whimsical stories teaching young children lessons on financial literacy she learned in her childhood as well as in the world of business.

Her desire to write children's books on financial literacy is rooted in the fundamental belief that children are emerging leaders. Planting good seeds in their lives and nurturing their greatness will lead them to paths of success.
