Bethany A Beeler

Bethany’s work reads like five bitterly loving muse sisters grappling in a burlap sack and tossed into a vat of paint on a dance stage. Memoir-finalist, horror-spinner, fantasy-conjurer, poetry-wrangler, and illustrator of cats of disaster, she balances haphazard chaos and controlled anti-entropy. For no end comes without a beginning, and nothing that’s real is ever lost but found again and again in way after way.

Artist and author of North Street Book Prize How to NOT Know You’re Trans and its follow-up TransQuality, Bethany A. Beeler weaves lived experience, wit, and deep empathy into every project she touches, bringing her rich personal journey to her art, writing, and professional work.
