Ten Thousand Secrets National Park (Book One in the Apple Island Series, 2020) is an eco-fiction thriller set in the USA heartland of today, tomorrow, & yesterday.

These stories mix my work-life experience with a conviction that a close relationship to nature reveals the magic around us.

In my academic years as a geographer, I co-authored the first editions of the geography textbook that Amazon has tagged me with. I wrote a short sci-fi essay as my epilogue for that textbook, a first step toward the Tales from Apple Island series.
