The Exhibitionist: Inspiring Trade Show Excellence is my first book which was co-authored with my wife Nichola J Reeder and now we have the bug we have a number of other business books that we are scoping out.

I've had a varied career path, I've experienced working within the public, private and charitable 3rd sectors, building a range of skills across operations, people management and stakeholder influence at a senior level. However, whichever role I have found myself working in, the problem solving and troubleshooting elements have always excited me the most which is reflected in my contribution to The Exhibitionist.

My real passion now is hearing a client describe an outcome they want to reach, but not knowing how to get there, leaving me to develop creative and workable solutions. Within live events such as trade shows and exhibitions I add most value for exhibitors by breaking down the key operational challenges they face, to bring their vision to life in a way that engages with a visitor but keeps on the right side of any Health & Safety or practical restrictions the venue may throw at us. There's a good reason why I've picked up the nickname 'Steve'll-Fix-It' from clients, especially when on-site snags need smoothing out.
