Emir Estrada

Emir Estrada is an American Sociologist. Estrada lived in Mexico during her formative years and her own immigration story has influenced her research interests. Dr. Estrada’s research centers on the migration and incorporation of immigrants from Latin America with a specific focus on the role of youth.

Dr. Estrada earned her doctorate from the University of Southern California (USC). She received her bachelors in sociology with a minor in Chicano/a Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
