Jose Esparza

Jose Esparza has been writing for over twenty years. Born sight impaired; Esparza learned how to adapt to life through writing. His writings convey emotional depth where he lacks physical depth perception. He began writing poetry after a school teacher taught him two truths about writing poetry. The first was that it had to have a cadence. The second; and most important was it had to have heart. According to Esparza; it's not poetry if it's not from the heart. Jose Esparza currently resides in Northern California.
