Trevor Cousins is a leadership development consultant and coach. He is co-founder of Cru Leader Development and co-creator of the Adapt, Grow, Achieve approach to leadership.
Following a languages degree at the University of the West of England and a masters degree in European Management from Cranfield School of Management, he spent 13 years working in marketing and communications agencies as an account director. In 2002 Trevor retrained as a coach, becoming certified by the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the International Coach Federation. Trevor spent the next 15 years working as a coach and workshop leader with commercial and non-profit clients in numerous industries including engineering, financial, education, property, charity, healthcare, heritage and restaurants.
Since 2014 Trevor, with his Cru co-founder Neill Thew, has been focusing on blending the fields of adaptive leadership, adult development, learning theory and Immunity to Change to create a model of leadership appropriate for the uncertain and complex challenges leaders and their organisations are facing.
Since 2000 Trevor has lived in the cosmopolitan coastal city of Brighton and Hove in the UK where he loves to walk the beach and enjoy its diverse and liberal atmosphere and history. He is father to a teenage son.
