Erisa Lewis was born on January 14,1977 in the American town of New Iberia, Louisiana, to her parents, (late) Mr. Ernest Lewis Jr. and Mrs. Beverly Locks Lewis, both natives of the state of Louisiana. She is a Certified Medical Assistant with certification obtained by The National Healthcare Association, also a licensed Cosmetologist over 23 years by the Louisiana State Board of Cosmetology and a rising author of our time. Her first book, "The Place of Broken," is an eye opening, soul-changing memoir of her personal journey and struggle to relevance and answering God's call to a higher purpose for her life with Christ our Lord. Her family is her most cherished possession and through all she has endured they are the reason for her diligence in opening the locked doors of life. She aspires to evangelize, motivate and inspire women of all walks of life with her testimony and wisdom. Compassion, Love and philanthropy are embedded in her heart and she strives to continue to make a positive impact in her world, among all men and women, young and old.
