Stephen J. Simmons

Stephen J. Simmons left his home in a teeming metropolis of 900 people in the northern Catskills of upstate New York to pursue a career as a submarine nuclear-plant operator. After he retired from the Navy in 2004, he discovered that twenty-plus years of naval service had trained him in the fine art of spinning fanciful yarns (shipmates would call these "sea stories" of course) in addition to his training in nuclear physics and the fundamentals of steam propulsion.
