Shatasha McPhatter is a U.S. Army Veteran originally from Newport News, Virginia. An IT Project Manager and College Professor by day; she loves creating children’s books in her spare time. Shatasha is the founder of McPhatter Book Company, where she creates stories that inspire children.

She is the author of Myra Prat the Military Brat and Reign, Your Curls Are Poppin!
